PRESS CONFERENCE: ATF Joins Rep. Jayapal, Senator Van Hollen, other Members of Congress along with 21 National Groups to Lay Out an Agenda to Tax The Rich & Make Life Affordable for All

April 10, 2026

WASHINGTON, D.C. – This Tax Day, please join Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA-7), Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), Americans for Tax Fairness, Patriotic Millionaires, members of Congress, and other tax fairness allies for a press conference promoting revenue-raising solutions that make life more affordable for everyday Americans. While working people pay what they owe, billionaires and corporations benefit from a system and economy rigged in their favor, paying pennies on the dollar, if anything at all. Hear from experts, advocates, and legislators about why taxing the wealthy and corporations can make our economy work for everyone, and how they plan to do it.
